We Demand Fossil Free Finance Action in the Senate!
Reps. Jones, Pressley, and Tlaib have introduced the Fossil Free Finance Act - a crucial piece of legislation for addressing the climate crisis - in the House. Now it's time for a companion bill in the Senate!
In mid-September, the Fossil Free Finance Act was introduced in the US House of Representatives. The bill would require the Federal Reserve System to mandate that all lending must align with US obligations under the Paris Climate Agreement.

Without strong, meaningful action in the financial sector, we can't hope to mitigate the climate crisis enough to ensure a livable future for us all. And without a livable planet, what good is a healthy economy? We believe that a healthy economy, a healthy planet, and a healthy society are mutually compatible, and it's time for the financial sector to catch up!
